The five-star Victoria Katarina was built in 2004 and underwent major structural renovations in 2010 in order to bring the ship up to speed with Victoria Cruises' newest state-of-the-art vessels. With a five-star rating from the China National Tourist Administration, the Victoria Katarina encompasses four decks of elegance highlighted by a rich tapestry of colors, gleaming woods, sparkling chandeliers, and American and European influences with Asian accents. The five-star ship offers a boutique atmosphere with 132 cabins which include 98 private balcony Superior Staterooms, 32 Executive Suites and two Shangri-La Suites for a total passenger capacity of 264 persons.

All passenger staterooms feature a private balcony so guests can appreciate the magnificent views of the Yangtze River. Marble-Top bathroom counters, in-room refrigerators and safety boxes, 26" Phillips LCD flat screen televisions in each stateroom (suites feature 42" Phillips LCD flat screen TVs with DVD player), international cable TV broadcasts of HBO and CNN and advanced-cooling air conditioning systems further add to the luxury look and feel of the Victoria Katarina.

The Victoria Katarina also features a lecture room, library/reading room, cocktail lounge, beauty parlor and mini-spa, gift shop, spacious observation deck, business center, health clinic, lavish atrium lobby and elevator for guests' convenience. In addition to onboard activities such as Tai Chi lessons, the Yangtze Club offers a host of invigorating nightly entertainment options as well as computer terminals for Internet access. Passengers traveling with their own laptops can also rent Wireless 3G USB modems through which they can access the internet from most areas of the ship.

Victoria Katarina features 132 tastefully-appointed cabins in three categories—98 Superior Staterooms, 32 Executive Suites, and 2 Shangri-La Suites, with a total capacity of 264 passengers. All cabins are equipped with satellite TV with HBO and CNN, plus classic Chinese movie channels and Sky Sports from Hong Kong. All cabins have private balconies for viewing the magnificent Three Gorges scenery, and full baths in the bathrooms. All cabins feature hairdryers, in-room safe box, mini refrigerator, individually controlled heat/air-condition, luggage rack, writing desk.
