Princeton Track Team on the Great Wall

As the Head Coach of the Princeton University Track Team, I researched many tour operations for our trip to China during the summer of 2007. From the moment I contacted China Spree I felt confident that our group would be taken care of with the highest level of service.
Princeton traveled with a very large group, 73 athletes and staff. We also had numerous requirements particular to our group. We need to set up training times and schedules around our two competitions while we were in China.
All of these requirements were handled with great professionalism. From the moment we landed in Beijing and were met by the fantastic tour guides, we were taken care of. Not once did I feel worried about our travel arrangements.

I am writing to thank you and China Spree for the absolutely wonderful trip to China that you put together for us, so that we could tour two major cities—Beijing and Xian, before moving on to attend the 2007 World Games in Shanghai! I appreciate that you were also able to offer two tours for us—a 12-Day and an 18-Day, so that our group of 40 people had a choice according to their schedules.
I understand the importance of testimonials, as that was a determining factor for decided upon your tour group, along with the great price you offered, as I searched online for affordable tours. So, I’m writing this for future individuals and groups, to help them decide which tour group to use.
Wilson, I am happy to say that China Spree fulfilled ALL of its promises, while offering quality hotels to stay at, in all three cities. The first five days were very fast-paced which enabled us to see much as possible in such a short time. The buses were clean and comfortable.
The highlight of our three-day stay in Beijing for me, were riding through the Hutong district by ricksaw and, of course, the Great Wall, even driving up to Badaling and seeing the wall from various locations was breathtaking. In Xian, my favorite two things were seeing the Tang Dynasty Show (spectacular) and visiting the Terra-cotta Warriors site!
All of the China Spree tour guides were punctual, knowledgeable, professional and personable, but I can’t begin to say enough about your national guide, Robert. He was all of the above and more—always patient, helpful, thoughtful and a lot of fund to be with!

We just returned from our China Highlights & Yangtze Cruise private tour which you have organized for our group of 20. I have been to China a few times before, some with escorted tours and other times I was there on my own while this is the first time for the other 19 people in the group. We all have a very enjoyable time and for me this was the best planned trip ever. Even though I was revisiting some places, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou, I enjoyed new perspectives in each city. The highlights for our group was the Great Wall, The Terra Cotta Warriors Site, the Yangtze Cruise and the lunch with a local family in Beijing. The Tang Dynasty show in Xian and the Acrobatic show in Shanghai were also spectacular. Our group members could not believe how organized the whole trip was, from the time we were met at the Beijing Airport to the time we checked in for departure at the Shanghai airport, we were very well taken care of. The transitions from city to city were very smooth and pleasant and the hotels, coaches and food were all good. We were all amazed at the quality and value of service your company provides. However the most valuable are your tour guides, they were all very knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient with us and speak English very well. We especially want to thank Robert, our national guide. He was kind, helpful, very organized and always smiling. We had so much fun that some of us are already thinking of a return trip to other parts of China. Group of the PacersAs the organizer and leader of a tour group of 42 first time travelers to the People's Republic of China in October, Wilson Wu and China Spree made my job almost effortless. Most tour members had never used an Internet travel company before and were reluctant participants as they waited for something to go wrong.
