Tour Fare Includes:
a) International air transportation:
Round trip transpacific air from designated gateway per itinerary/departure
date. U.S. & Canada domestic add-on flights between your
home city and the designated gateway is available upon request
but is not part of the tour fare. China Land Only Packages do
not include any international transportation.
b) China internal transportation:
All intra-China flights are included per itinerary. Private motor coach land travel, private transfers between airport and hotel, and all China domestic transportation within tour are included. Note: China Land Only Packages do NOT include airport/hotel transfers on arrival/departure date.
c) Accommodations: Hotel and cruise accommodations are included in the tour cost, based on standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. Tour fares shown are quoted on a per person (pp) double occupancy (do) rate (two people sharing one room). Rate for triple occupancy is as same as that for double occupancy. Single occupancy is subject to Single Supplement charge. Triple room is a twin-bedded standard room adding a rollaway bed (cot). The standard room at some Chinese hotels may be smaller than that in North America so it is tight to have three beds in one room.
d) Sightseeing & Admissions
fees: Comprehensive sightseeing, Yangtze cruise and shore
excursions (where applicable), Culture InSites Programs,
and evening shows including admission/entrance fees are included
per itinerary. The arrangements of these programs are determined
by local tour operator and are based on local circumstances
such as weather, traffic, holidays, etc.
e) Meals: Daily meals and
local flavors are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal
codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Diner, IM=In-Flight Meals.
Buffet style American breakfast is served at most hotels on
your trip. Lunch and dinner are usually served in Chinese "family
style" with a set menu including one glass of selected
beverages per person.
f) Escorting/Guiding Services: For a group travel with no less than 10 passengers, a professional tour director is assigned throughout mainland China. Local guides are assigned along the trip to offer local guiding services.
g) Porterage: Luggage handling
services are included throughout Mainland China.
Tour fare does not include
U.S. and China air taxes & governmental fees; China visa
processing fee; Airfare between your home city and the designated
U.S. gateways; Gratuities for tour director, local guides,
drivers and porters; Items of personal nature such as laundry,
room service, phone bills, excess baggage charges, optional
tours, and insurance premium, as well as any items or services
not specifically listed in the itinerary are not included.
Tour fare validity
All tour fares shown are based on the current value of US Dollar in relation to Chinese RMB (Yuan) as of September, 2007, when USD$1 is equivalent to CNY7.55 Chinese Yuan, and are subject to change. Should US Dollar devalue by 7% or greater to Chinese Yuan, Tour Beyond, Inc. (dba: China Spree) reserves the right to increase our tour prices accordingly. This applies to all tour payments including those that have been paid in full to Tour Beyond, Inc.
Fuel Surcharges
We are all aware of the escalating cost of fuel, and while we had hoped we would not be adversely affected, from time to time, we do receive fuel surcharge notices from many airlines. All present fuel surcharges and air taxes for this tour are included. We regret having to pass along any additional charges to our passengers; however, we cannot be responsible for these charges when they are levied except to do our best to notify our passengers of the charges and then collect them on behalf of the carriers. Like all taxes associated with your tickets, fuel surcharges and airport fees are subject to change without notice. This applies to all departures (the departure date from U.S.) after the notice is announced, and all tour payments including those that have been paid in full to Tour Beyond, Inc. This also applies to all air taxes and Chinese government fees.
Charge for Children
Child from 2-11 years of age is considered child rate. Lap child under 2 years of age will have no seat and bed on airline and at hotels. Children 12 years and older will be charged adult rate.
Passenger Information
Please note China Spree requires you to provide your FULL passport names as appearing exactly on your passport. We require and ONLY need your passport name. Failure to do so will result in denial of boarding and the passenger takes full responsibility.
It is passengers' responsibility to double check with China Spree (Tour Beyond, Inc.) to make sure you provide the exact names as appearing on your passport when you make an online booking or reserve the tour over the phone. Please note your passport names must be provided correctly in the first place when you make the reservation and the names you provided will be keyed into the airline booking system by then. Any name change later on will result in the cancellation of the existing reservation and penalty applies.
Please note China Spree (Tour Beyond, Inc.) will not verify the names you provide when making reservation to the names on your actual passport or on your passport copy or on the credit card authorization form etc. It is your sole responsibility to provide the correct passport names when making reservation.
When you receive the tour invoice, you must check again and make sure the names appearing on the invoice match exactly your passport names.
Upon receipt of the airline ticket before departure, you should perform the check of name spellings, flight segments, travel dates, etc. and contact us immediately if there is any discrepancy. Please note it is your sole responsibility to make sure all travel information is correct on your travel documents.
Methods of Payment
Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, personal check,
bank check, money order and electronic bank wire are all acceptable
forms of payment. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable.
Check or money order should be made payable to "Tour Beyond,
Inc". Passengers joining our tours from outside the U.S. must
make payment by electronic bank wire, bank check or international
money order in U.S. currency.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of USD$200 per person is required
to secure your reservation. Reservation will not be confirmed
until your deposit is cleared with our company. To secure
a reservation on a trip departing within 50 days, full payment
is required at the time of booking.
Final Payment
Final payment is due 50 days prior to departure. To take advantage of our early booking discount (cash discount rate) for your tour, simply send us your personal check, certified check or money order in the cash discount amount as indicated on your invoice to arrive in our company by payment due date. If you wish to pay your balance by credit card, please complete the enclosed credit card authorization form on your tour invoice, sign and return it to us by fax or postal mail. This form authorizes us to charge the regular tour fare as indicated on your invoice. Check or money order should be received and cleared by our bank by payment due date. Reservation is subject to cancellation if final payment is not received by due date; the deposit will be forfeited. USA and China air taxes & fees and other applicable charges (e.g. Visa Handling Fee, USA domestic add-on airfare) are not part of the tour price and will be billed as a separate item on your invoice.
Payment for Land Only packages
Travelers who purchase China Land Only package and make payment
with credit card are required to provide a CLEAR copy of their
credit card (for both front and back side), and a copy of
passport for each travel participant. The documents should
be emailed as a scanned attachment to info@chinaspree.com
or faxed to 360-656-0000 (or 001-360-656-0000 if faxed outside
North America) before the reservation is confirmed.
Cancellation & Refund
Notification of tour cancellation for any reason must be in writing. Verbal cancellation by phone is not acceptable. Any cancellation refunds will be calculated from the date the written cancellation is received in our offices.
Traveler(s) unable to complete the vacation for any reason acknowledge that any and all unused portion(s) of the vacation package is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
Should the traveler(s) cancellation change the room configuration and thereby incurs a single supplement charge to a roommate within 50 days prior to departure, the amount of charge will be deducted from the travelers' refund. This is in addition to any other cancellation fees that may apply. If the cancellation is made outside 50 days, the roommate has to pay the single room supplement.
Air tickets and all other travel documents must be returned to our office before we can confirm your cancellation with your insurance company where applicable. Applicable refund can only be processed following receipt of the written cancellation and returned documents.

The above cancellation penalty will be carried out strictly regardless of the reason that you have to cancel. Tour Beyond, Inc. (dba: China Spree) strongly recommend our clients to purchase travel insurance to protect their travel investment.

Itinerary Changes
The world of travel is ever-changing. Therefore, the day-by-day itinerary provided on our website is preliminary and subject to adjustment and change. We will try our best to provide an accurate final itinerary to you approximately two weeks prior to departure. Tour Beyond, Inc. pledges to make every effort to follow tour itinerary precisely, however unforeseen situations do occasionally occur. If a hotel/cruise ship in the itinerary becomes unavailable, Tour Beyond, Inc. reserves the right to make substitution with hotel/cruise ship of equal standard and quality. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. Local tour arrangements are determined by local tour operators and are based on local circumstances such as weather, traffic, holidays, etc.
Yangtze River Cruise
Cruise Itineraries are subject to change and may be altered
specifically according to various factors such as water levels,port
accessibility, weather, navigation, etc.
U.S. Add-on Flights
U.S. Add-on flight is introduced as an optional service, upon request by the Customer, to facilitate their transportation to the designated gateway city. All China Spree tours start and end at one of the three gateway cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York (JFK), where Air China operates non-stop flights to Beijing. Add-on fare is not part of the tour price neither is considered to be part of the tour. The add-on air is subject to availability and confirmation by the related airline. Due to the nature of complexity of the add-on flight arrangement, China Spree cannot guarantee and is not responsible for any change on the flight schedule, flight route, airfare, the availability and confirmation of the flight. Upon receipt of your add-on airline tickets, the Customer must phone the airlines related to confirm the flight and get their seats assigned. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect you from flight change, flight cancellation and travel delays. Tour Beyond can not be held responsible for any delayed and/or missed connections whether the add-on flights are arranged by us or not.
Group size
A minimum 10 travelers is required to guarantee a group departure. In case we have to cancel a departure due to low participation, clients will have the option to either reschedule the trip or receive a complete refund of all payments they have made to us.
Shopping
Shopping is an active part of tourism, particularly for the destination like China, which is known as bargain shoppersĄŻ paradise. Your China tour may have shopping stops. Please note shopping is always a personal matter, and Tour Beyond Inc. is not responsible for any purchases you make during your trip, whether that merchant is part of the scheduled itinerary or not.
Gratuities
The customary gratuities to the tour director, local guides,
motor coach drivers, porters and wait staff are not included
in the tour price. Tipping is optional and should be extended
on a voluntary basis. A detailed tipping guideline will be sent
to you prior to departure date.
Baggage
Baggage is carried at passenger's risk and baggage insurance
is recommended. Although every efforts is made to handle clients'
baggage carefully, Tour Beyond cannot be responsible, assume
liability or accept claims for loss or damage to baggage and
personal effects due to breakage, theft, or wear and tear
throughout the trip.
Baggage allowance differs for the transpacific and the
China domestic sections of your trip.
Baggage allowance for transpacific flight is two pieces of
checked baggage per person. Total dimensions (Length + Width
+ Height) of the two pieces must not exceed 107 inches (273cm);
maximum dimensions of single piece shall not exceed 62 inches
(158cm). Maximum weight per piece is 50 lbs. Each passenger
may carry one hand baggage, the dimensions of which shall
not exceed 45 inches (115cm).
China domestic airlines have stringent luggage restrictions
allowing one piece of checked baggage that must not exceed
44 lbs per person, plus a carry-on baggage not exceed 5
lbs and it must fit in overhead bin or under seat.
Baggage in excess of allowances will incur excess baggage
charge payable on site by the passenger. Your luggage should
be limited to one large checked suitcase and one small carry-on
bag per person. Valuables, breakable items, travel documents
and medications must be carried personally in a hand baggage.
Please note that it is a Chinese regulation that all checked
baggage must be locked.
Health & Medical Issues
Our trips are exciting and active vacations. While there is time to relax, there will also be much to see and do, and your excursions may require an extensive amount of walking. Some special programs such as Yangtze Cruise & Tibet Odyssey may have stringent health requirements. Please check with your personal physician to verify your particular needs. You are strongly recommended to purchase a travel insurance to protect you for the unexpected. Tour Beyond. Inc. is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of medical services or for the quality of medical care received. Vaccinations are usually not mandatory to enter China. However we remind you that traveling in China does require certain precautions. It is therefore highly recommended that you check with your personal physician to verify your particular needs. Most travelers take Hepatitis A&B and Tetanus. Some shots need to be taken well in advance. Tour Beyond is not in the position to tell you to do or not to do any vaccinations. Please check with your family doctor for details. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to
protect yourself and your investment in case you have to cancel
or interrupt your vacation. Please read details about Travel

Documents
Final documents including air tickets, hotel lists, final tour
itinerary, clothing suggestions, reading list, luggage tags
and other pertinent information will be mailed to you approximately
two weeks prior to departure.
Photography on the tour
From time to time, Tour Beyond will photograph the tour and tour related activities. All travelers consent to the use of their likeness in Tour Beyond, Inc. publications unless they specifically indicate their preference in writing prior to departure.
California Seller of Travel
Tour Beyond, Inc. is Registered Seller of Travel in the State
of California; the registration number is CST2075458-40. California
law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account.
This business has a client trust account. This business is not
a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution
Fund.
Legal Responsibility
Tour Beyond, Inc. doing business as Chinaspree.com (China Spree)
acts only as independent contractors acting on behalf of neither
the customer (herein referred to as "you") nor the
travel suppliers. As a tour operator, Tour Beyond, Inc. organizes
and sells tour programs consisting of certain services, including
air, surface, and water transportation, hotel/cruise accommodations,
sightseeing excursions and other package programs that Tour
Beyond, Inc. purchases or reserves from various suppliers (herein
referred to as "Suppliers"). Tour Beyond, Inc. does
not own nor operate any of these Suppliers.
The Suppliers providing travel services for Tour Beyond are
all independent contractors, and are not agents, affiliates,
or subsidiaries of Tour Beyond, Inc. As such, Tour Beyond,
Inc. can not be held responsible for any negligent or willful
act of any supplier or of any third party.
The passage contracts in use by the Suppliers such as airlines,
cruise lines, motor coach lines, rail companies, local land
operators, hotels and other travel providers whose services
are included in your tour package, when issued, shall constitute
the sole agreements between you and such third party suppliers,
and are subject to the terms and conditions specified by each
individual supplier. The cruise contract in use constitutes
the sole agreement between the passenger and the cruise lines,
therefore, subject to terms and conditions governs the relationship
between the passenger and the owner/operator of the cruise
ship. Tour Beyond, Inc. assumes no responsibility for cruise
ship substitutions or itinerary changes imposed by the cruise
line or China local tour operator.
By utilizing the services of the Suppliers, you agree that
you will look to such Suppliers for any disputes, accident,
property damage or personal loss to you or to those traveling
with you, and that neither Tour Beyond, Inc. nor any representative
of Tour Beyond, Inc. shall be liable.
Tour Beyond, Inc. shall not be in any way liable for any
inconvenience, accidents, loss, personal injury or property
damage to you or to those traveling with you in course of
the trip resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences
or conditions including but not limited to delays, cancellations,
change of schedule, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations,
mechanical or construction breakdown, default of any third
parties, criminal or terrorist activities, acts of governmental
authority, social or labor unrest, hygiene, disease, customs
regulations, weather conditions, Acts of God, or any other
actions, omissions or conditions beyond the control of Tour
Beyond, Inc..
Tour Beyond, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any
potential risks and/or hazards associated with travel to
destinations covered in our tour programs where unanticipated
events may occur. Clients must be aware that there may be
different living standards and practices outside of their
home country including but not limited to standards of quality,
hygiene, medical treatment, provision of utilities such
as water, electricity, accommodation, food preparations
and services of all kinds. In consideration for embarking
upon travel for which you have sought the assistance of
Tour Beyond, Inc. you hereby agrees to voluntarily assume
all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected,
or whether directly or indirectly the result of such travel.
Tour Beyond, Inc. reserves the right to change the departure
date of any trip, withdraw any tours, alter tour itinerary,
and substitute hotels, airlines, cruise ship, land travel
operators, and any aspect of your tour package for the convenience
of the operation of tours. In the event of cancellation,
alteration or substitution of such services due to the operation
of the Suppliers, delays, weather, act of government authority
or other causes of whatever nature beyond the control of
Tour Beyond, Inc. comparable services would be offered;
and, there shall be no refund or penalties in this connection.
Tour Beyond, Inc. reserves the right to decline to accept,
or retain any person as tour member if such person's physical
or mental conditions, in our opinion, impede the operation
of the tour. Tour Beyond reserves the right to cancel the
tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such
cancellation is limited to full refund of money received
by Tour Beyond, Inc. Doing so will constitute full settlement
with the tour member.
Airlines, cruise lines, rail, motor coach and other transportation
carriers concerned shall not be liable for any act, omission
or event during the time the passengers are not on board
their planes, cruise ship or conveyances. All transportation
carriers herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility
for liability to any traveler aside from their liability
as common carriers.
Hotel and cruise ship profiles are based upon information
provided to Tour Beyond, Inc. by hotels and cruise ships,
or their representatives, including images and descriptions
of individual properties. Star-ratings may differ from country
to country. Tour Beyond, Inc. does its best to maintain
current information, however, is not responsible for any
inaccuracies, changes in features or amenities, or images
provided by third parties.
Payment of the required deposit constitutes consent to all
provisions of the conditions and general information contained
herein for all travelers covered by the payment. The General
Conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of
Tour Beyond, Inc. in arranging the tours may not be amended
in any way except in writing signed by an authorized officer
of Tour Beyond, Inc.
The Agency reserves the right to modify this Terms & Conditions at any time and Customer's continued use of this service will be conditioned upon the Terms & Conditions in force at the time of use.
Tour Beyond, Inc. makes every effort to ensure accuracy
on the website and brochure; however, Tour Beyond, Inc.
cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in
the publications.
Claims & Jurisdiction
All claims against the tour operators must be filed in writing
within 30 days after completion of the tour. By utilizing
the services of Tour Beyond, Inc., you agree that the exclusive
venue for all claims, actions or proceedings against Tour
Beyond, Inc. of whatsoever nature arising out of this contract
shall be the State of Washington; and, such claim actions
or proceedings shall be determined according to the laws and
jurisdiction of the State of Washington.
Limitation of Liability
By booking one of these vacation packages, you acknowledge
that in all events Tour Beyond, Inc. shall not be liable for
any consequential, psychological or emotional damage and that
the sole extent of liability of Tour Beyond, Inc. shall never
exceed the amount actually paid by you to Tour Beyond, Inc.
