2010 China’s Golden Triangle
10 Days from only $888
The tour starts in Beijing with included visits to the Great Wall, Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Then you travel to Xian on an exciting overnight train ride aboard China’s new generation train with its comfortable soft-sleeper accommodation. This unique feature offers you a rare opportunity for “people to people experience” with your fellow travelers as well as the Chinese locals. This will be a memorable journey to be savored for years.
In the ancient capital Xian, our included tour takes you to the 6,000 life-sized Terra-cotta Warriors. In Shanghai, you finish your memorable journey with a maglev train ride.
The hotels we use for this trip is China’s official 4-star as opposite to mainly 5-star hotels for our “First Class Travel”.
Since the Chinese language is a major barrier for American tourists, I think Americans are often more comfortable on a tour that provides international air transportation, hotel accommodations, escorted sightseeing tours and meals. However, I can also see the opposite point of view...and independent travel does have its attractions. It's always exciting to “experience the unique flavor and activity of that city, walk about at your own speed, interact with the merchants...have a meal.”
The $888 Golden Triangle tour was designed to combine the comfort and ease of an arranged tour with the excitement and flexibility of independent travel. This innovative itinerary offers a very affordable 10-day vacation tour to China’s top three tourist destinations—the capital Beijing, Xian's Terracotta Warriors, and metropolitan Shanghai.
Like all other China Spree tours, this exciting trip includes all the “must-see” highlights like the Great Wall; the Forbidden City and the Terracotta Warriors. But this tour also offers affordable optional excursions to other attractions, in other words, it combines the advantage of the arranged group tour with the flexibility of independent travel. It features a free day in Beijing and in Shanghai so our clients can explore China’s two greatest cities on their own, or take advantage of our affordable optional tours to visit other attractions these two cites have to offer.
A few dinners are not included with this package. We wanted to allow our clients the flexibility of trying some “real” Chinese food - or any other cuisine on their own. An exciting overnight train ride from Beijing to Xian is particularly arranged to offer a rare opportunity for a people to people experience with your fellow travelers or China locals.
